Common questions about cost
Is the first visit free?
Yes. We come to the home, meet your loved one and talk through what would help. There's no cost and no obligation.
Will Medicare or Medicaid pay for this?
Regular companion care is paid privately; we don't bill Medicaid. For families living with dementia, Medicare's GUIDE program may cover respite visits.
What about long-term care insurance?
Some policies pay toward companion care and some don't. Check with the insurance company about what the policy covers before care starts.
Are your caregivers your employees?
Yes. We handle their pay, taxes and insurance, so you never have to.
